  1. Kindly note that the warranty term of our products may vary from region to region. If you wish to confirm the warranty term of your purchased product, please contact our local offices for assistance.
  2. Please be advised that the information provided on this website regarding our general product warranty policy is for informational purposes only. While MSI aims to provide accurate and timely information, inadvertent technical or factual inaccuracies, as well as typographical errors, may occur for which we apologize. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections to our policy at any time without prior notice.
  3. The warranty for accessories is valid for 12 months from the original manufacturer's product serial number/barcode. For adapters, the warranty is valid for 6 months from either the date of purchase or manufacture, upon registering online with the original manufacturer. Refurbished MSI Laptops have a 6-month (180-day) warranty period under the same conditions.
  4. MSI's warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, abuse, catastrophes, improper use, inadequate packaging, neglect, misuse, operator error, or environmental factors such as temperature and humidity, among others. In addition, the warranty does not apply to products or parts that have been modified, altered, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized third-party providers. Normal wear and tear, consumable or expendable parts, and software or hardware incompatibility issues are also excluded from the warranty. Other excluded items include accessories or devices that were not originally bundled with the product, and damage caused during shipping. Finally, installation, removal, and set-up service charges are not covered by the warranty.

Desktops & All-in-One PCs

  2. The MSI General Product Warranty Policy provided on this website is for informational purposes only. Although we aim to provide accurate and timely information, unintentional technical or factual errors may occur, including typographical errors, for which we apologize. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections to this policy at any time without prior notice.
  3. Refurbished Product components such as the motherboard, CPU, memory, HDD, SSD, ODD, and panel are covered by a 6-month repair service warranty from the date of manufacture, based on the original manufacturer's product serial number/barcode. Consumable items such as batteries, adapters, keyboards, and mice are covered by a 6-month replacement service warranty from the date of manufacture, based on the original manufacturer's product serial number/barcode.
  4. The MSI Limited Warranty will not apply to products that are damaged due to accident, abuse, catastrophe, improper use (including failure to follow instructions or warnings), improper maintenance, inadequate packaging, neglect, misuse, operator error, external causes (such as corrosion, falls, environmental factors, power failure, faulty power supply, air conditioning, operator, data communications system failure or malfunction), alterations, changes, modifications, repair, or other services performed by unauthorized third parties, product accessories, apparatus, attachments, or devices that are not originally bundled with the product or provided by MSI, damage or loss of data, programs, or removable storage media, installation, relocation, or removal of the product or any accessories, apparatus, attachments, or other devices, normal wear and tear, products or parts that are consumable or expendable, a product or part where you cannot provide the local warranty card, registration number, or purchase receipt issued by MSI Online Store, or where the serial number or label has been defaced or removed,  damage caused by shipping carriers, hardware or software incompatibility issues, or installation, removal, and set-up service charges.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and reserve the right to make changes and corrections to the information without prior notice.
  3. The Business Productivity Monitor Service Policy provides a warranty period of 6 months for Refurbished Monitors. Regional differences may apply, so please contact us for further details. Please note that MSI monitors do not come with a zero pixel defect warranty. The DOT policy states that a bright dot greater than 3 dots or a bright dot gap between L and 15mm and a dark dot greater than 5 dots are not covered under warranty. The definition of bright dots is dots that appear bright and unchanged in size while displaying under a black pattern. Dark dots are dots that appear dark and unchanged in size while displaying under pure red, green, or blue.
  4. MSI's Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, abuse, catastrophes, improper use or maintenance, inadequate packaging, neglect, misuse, operator error, external causes such as corrosion, falls, environmental factors, power failure, faulty power supply, air conditioning, operator, data communications system failure, or malfunction. It also does not cover damage caused by alterations, changes, modifications, repairs, or other services performed by an unauthorized third party, products or accessories that are not originally bundled with the product or provided by MSI, damage to or loss of any data, program, or removable storage media, installation, relocation, or removal of the product or any accessories, apparatus, attachments, or other devices, normal wear and tear, products or parts that cannot be verified with the registration number, damage caused by the shipping carrier, and hardware or software incompatibility issues or installation, removal, and set-up service charges.

Gaming Graphics Cards

  1. Warranty terms may vary by region. Please contact our local offices to verify the warranty term for your purchased product.
  2. MSI provides information on its website for general product warranty policies, but reserves the right to make changes and corrections without notice.
  3. New MSI graphics cards purchased by end users have a warranty period of 3 years (36 months) covering damage due to regular usage but not physical damage. The warranty period starts on the date of purchase with an invoice as proof, or from the product's manufactured date if an invoice is unavailable. Refurbished MSI graphics cards have a 6-month (180-day) warranty period under the same conditions.
  4. The warranty does not cover damage caused by alterations, modifications, or repairs made by unauthorized third parties, use of unauthorized or recommended parts or software, improper usage by the product user, natural disasters or human calamities, or consumable items such as boxes, batteries, earphones, and user manuals.
  5. To discern the original manufacturer barcode, look for the Serial Number (S/N) label located on the retail box.


Please note that all serial numbers are recorded and tracked for warranty purposes, and MSI reserves the right to refuse maintenance services or require payment of surcharges relating to two-way shipping, labor, and parts charges before effectuating repair services for products meeting the above-excluded circumstances.
